Phaedra – This video is created by Ms. Zane from footage taken from her 1996 short film Phaedra, based on Jean Racine’s play from Euripedes’ tale about King Theseus’s young wife who fell in love with her stepson and killed herself in disgrace. The film premiered at the Napa Valley Film Festival. Ms. Zane’s music video version features her 1999 recording of Eric Satie’s 2nd Gnocienne, to which she’d composed lyrics.
